NIH New Innovator Award

Professor Hendon was one of 49 junior faculty members awarded the 2014 NIH New Innovator Award for her grant proposal High Resolution Imaging of the Myocardium.  The award will provide $2.4 million over five years, with $1.5 million in direct funds.  This will allow Prof Hendon and her group to work towards their goals of developing high resolution optical coherence tomography catheters to assess tissue remodeling and evaluation of interventional therapies.
